Returns: every platform, one list
What Returns does
Whatever platform a buyer returns through, the return lands in one list: one status per return, from In transit to Received, Checked, and Closed β with the outcome synced back to the platform.
Handling one return
- Receive: when the parcel arrives, find the return in the list and choose Receive. A parcel you cannot match β set it aside unopened until you can.
- Check: open it and grade the item β like new, lightly used, or damaged β and snap a photo for the record.
- Resolve:
- Like new β Restock, and it goes back to its home location, sellable again;
- Refund β handle the refund within the platform's rules, then close it here as refunded;
- Damaged or wrong item β close it with that reason; your photo is the evidence.
- Close: the outcome syncs to the platform and the return leaves your to-do list.
Tips
- Always check before restocking. The next buyer receiving a used item costs you more than one return.
- A buyer who returns often shows their history on the order β worth a look before you ship the next one.
