Connecting platforms: what connects, what syncs
One connection does three jobs
Once a sales platform is connected, that connection handles:
- Pulling orders: new platform orders roll in automatically (hourly on Free, every 5 minutes on Pro).
- Syncing inventory and prices: changes you make in Orderball are pushed back to the platform, and sales on the platform deduct here.
- Sending statuses back: shipping, tracking numbers, and return outcomes sync back to the platform.
Where connections live
Go to Settings β Platform connections: one card per connection with the platform, store, status (healthy / needs attention), and last sync time.
- Add: choose Add a platform, pick it, and follow the sign-in wizard (see "Connect your first sales platform").
- Pause: a store you are not selling on for a while can be paused β orders and inventory stop syncing until you resume.
- Disconnect: you will be shown any unfinished orders first. Disconnecting never deletes past orders or ledger entries.
How connections count
One platform account is one connection (one Shopify store = 1, one Amazon marketplace = 1). Your plan's allowance is shown in Usage.
